Print the outline below and colour it in using the numbered guide. The numbers on the flag match the colour swatches — so you always know exactly which colour goes where. Belize has one of the busiest emblems of any national flag, with two woodcutters, a mahogany tree and a ship, so take your time.

🌍 Flag facts
Belize has the only national flag in the world with people on it — two woodcutters, one holding an axe and one a paddle, standing either side of the shield.
The ring around the circle is a wreath of 50 leaves, chosen for the year 1950, when Belize's push for independence began.
The shield shows tools from the mahogany logging trade and a ship. The motto on the scroll, Sub Umbra Floreo, is Latin for "Under the shade I flourish".
Belize has the second-largest barrier reef in the world, after Australia's Great Barrier Reef.
