Spain Flag Colouring Page

On the yellow stripe is Spain's coat of arms: a shield with a crown on top, between two tall pillars. It has lots of tiny parts, so the PDF has a bonus page with a big version and all its colours.

🌍 Flag facts
The coat of arms has a shield split into parts for old Spanish kingdoms: a castle for Castile, a lion for León, stripes for Aragon, chains for Navarre and a pomegranate for Granada.
The two columns are the Pillars of Hercules, said to mark the edge of the ancient world at the Strait of Gibraltar. The ribbon around them reads Plus Ultra, Latin for "further beyond".
Red and yellow have been Spain's colours since the 1780s, chosen partly because they stand out clearly at sea.
Spain is famous for flamenco dancing, sunny beaches, paella, and some of the world's most-visited cities, like Barcelona and Madrid.
