Papua New Guinea Flag Colouring Page
Print the outline below and colour it in using the numbered guide. The numbers on the flag match the colour swatches — so you always know exactly which colour goes where. The flag is split by a diagonal line: red in the top corner with a golden bird, black in the bottom corner with white stars. The bird is all one gold colour, so the lines inside are just its details.

🌍 Flag facts
The golden bird is a Raggiana bird-of-paradise, the national bird of Papua New Guinea. It is famous for its beautiful, colourful feathers used in traditional dances.
The five white stars form the Southern Cross, a group of stars you can see in the night sky south of the equator.
Red and black are traditional colours in Papua New Guinean art. The flag was designed by a 15-year-old schoolgirl, Susan Karike, in 1971.
Papua New Guinea sits just north of Australia. It has thick rainforests, high mountains and hundreds of islands, and more than 800 languages are spoken there, more than in any other country!
