⭐The big white star has 24 points — one for each of the country's electoral districts. The four longest points stand for the main cultural centres.
🎨The two diagonal stripes stand for the equator. The orange ray means courage and the island group called Ratak (sunrise), and the white means peace and the Ralik group (sunset).
🏝️The Marshall Islands are made of 29 coral atolls and 5 islands scattered across the Pacific Ocean — rings of tiny islands around calm blue lagoons.
🌊The stripe getting wider as it rises stands for the islands lying just north of the equator and rising up out of the vast Pacific Ocean.
