The eight stars stand for the eight provinces that signed Venezuela's declaration of independence in 1811, plus one added later for a province that joined the fight.
Yellow stands for the country's wealth and sunshine, blue for the sea separating Venezuela from Spain, and red for the blood shed for independence.
Venezuela is a country in South America with the world's tallest waterfall, Angel Falls, which drops over 979 metres — that's taller than 3 Eiffel Towers stacked up!
Venezuela has some of the largest oil reserves in the world, and its capital city, Caracas, sits in a valley surrounded by mountains near the Caribbean coast.
