The golden symbol is called the Soyombo. At the very top is a flame standing for growth and family, with the sun and moon below it โ€” very old symbols of the Mongolian people.
โ˜ฏ๏ธ
In the middle is a shape like a yin-yang (two fish), standing for balance. The triangles and bars around it stand for spears defending the country and for honesty and justice.
๐ŸŽจ
The red stripes stand for progress and strength, and the blue stripe in the middle stands for the vast eternal blue sky over Mongolia.
๐ŸŽ
Mongolia is a land of wide open grasslands called the steppe. Many people still live as nomads in round tents called gers, and are famous as expert horse riders.
